Coffee in Copenhagen

Copenhagen takes its coffee seriously — and so do we. This guide maps 147 coffee spots across 12 neighborhoods, from third-wave roasters pulling single-origin espresso to quiet corner cafés where locals linger over a flat white. Every place here holds a 4.7★ average from real visitors, and none of them are the airport-style chains you'll find on every other list.

Start in Valby for the densest cluster of quality cafés, then wander outward. Names like Impact Roasters, Sinne gas bageri, Nørrebro Damp keep coming up in local recommendations for a reason — order what the barista suggests and you'll understand.
