Question 1

What is Polomaps?

Accepted Answer

Polomaps curates events and places in cities worldwide. Every week it picks what's on — concerts, club nights, film screenings, vintage markets, tastings — at the venues, cinemas and bars from its city guides, alongside the hidden-gem cafes, restaurants and shops locals actually go to.

Question 2

Where can I find events this week?

Accepted Answer

Open polomaps.com/events for this week's picks across all cities, or polomaps.com/events/{city} for one city (for example polomaps.com/events/amsterdam), with pages for today, tomorrow, this weekend and by type (music, parties, film, art and more). Listings are updated daily.

Question 3

How do I find hidden gems in a city?

Accepted Answer

Simply search for your city on Polomaps or browse our city guides. Each guide features places recommended by locals, organized by categories like cafes, restaurants, bars, and cultural spots. You can also search by your current location to find nearby hidden gems.

Question 4

Are the recommendations from real locals?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Every place on Polomaps is vetted and recommended by people who live in the city. We gather insights from bartenders, students, taxi drivers, chefs, and long-time residents who know their neighborhoods best.

Question 5

Can I create my own city guide?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! You can save your favorite places, organize them by category, and create custom city guides to share with friends. Premium users can also generate personalized guides with AI-powered recommendations.

Question 6
